Nitin Seth

Mr. Nitin Seth is the Managing Director and Country Head for Fidelity Worldwide Investment in India. He is responsible for Fidelity’s offshore operations across India and Tunisia. In addition, he is responsible for setting up and leading the Strategy & Planning function for the company globally. His recent work has included developing strategy for Fidelity’s UK business, designing organization performance scorecards and global location selection & footprint development.
Nitin joined Fidelity in June 2010 from McKinsey where he was the Director of McKC, McKinsey’s global knowledge center in India. Nitin led McKC for 8 years and developed a research back office into not only the largest knowledge & innovation hub for McKinsey but also the pioneer in delivery of hi-end research and analytics out of India. He conceptualized and incubated multiple innovations including Centers of Competence, Advanced Analytics and many new client service lines that are redefining how McKinsey serves clients.
Before joining McKC, Nitin was a consultant in McKinsey’s Delhi office. As a consultant most of Nitin’s work was with financial institutions and large industrial clients. He served them on strategy, new business development and operations improvement related issues. Nitin left McKinsey for two years (from April 2000 to April 2002) to be an entrepreneur, where he set up ActiveKarma Ventures, an Internet company focused on offering innovative health and lifestyle solutions.
Nitin is keenly involved in development of the IT and BPO industry and is recognized as an industry leader. He Chairs the NASSCOM Regional council for Haryana. He also chairs the NASSCOM forum for Global In-house Centers (GICs) for North India and has led the industry-wide initiative to develop the vision and value-addition strategy for GICs.
